Wheatlands Lodge Hotel was the perfect gateway for our New Year getaway to York! Just a short 10-minute stroll to the city center, we adored the charming family-run vibes and the staff's warm hospitality. The spacious bar lounge was a delightful spot to unwind after a day of exploring, complete with local ales and live music - you could feel the cozy atmosphere embracing you. Breakfast was a real treat too, with a Full English that powered us up for our adventures ahead. Honestly, I can't understand the negative reviews; this place is a gem for anyone looking to blend comfort with a touch of Yorkshire charm!
